1. What we collect
Nothing you type into the calculator is sent to us. Salary, hourly rate, city and school rates are processed locally in your browser with JavaScript. We do not run accounts, and we do not ask for your name, SSN, or employer to use the calculator.
2. Local storage
We save your last inputs in your browser's localStorage (key knowpaycheck-oh-v1) and your theme choice (knowpaycheck-theme) so the page remembers them. Clearing site data removes them. Use the Reset button anytime to clear.
3. URL parameters
The Copy link button puts non-sensitive settings (pay type, frequency, rates) in the URL so you can share an estimate. Anyone with that link can see those parameters.
4. Analytics & cookies
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. If basic privacy-friendly analytics are added later, this page will be updated.
5. Contact
If you email us via the contact page, we only use your message to reply. We never sell personal information.
